Whenever I hear or see this song, Michael Bolton's 'How I Am Supposed To Live Without You?", it automatically takes me back to a particular moment during my PPP/ITM years.
It was in the first week of orientation among us new students. We were mixed around with students of other programs (AUSMAT, A Level), and split into multiple groups.
In my group, we sat around in the classroom, and for starters, were asked to introduce ourselves. As it went around, I could not help to notice that most of the ladies were quoting. Michael Bolton, as their favorite singer. Adoi, ya, that song was a big hit at that time, so it makes sense.
And, I still remember the AUSMAT girl who said that Bolton was her favorite singer. ;) oh well, memories la ...
Lost the celcom prepaid number sbb lupa tak top up, and tak sempat rescue it.
Bought the number in 2005, as Mrs was using Celcom n me using Maxis masa tu, while dating. Expensive to sms n call. Where got WA or Telegram that time :P
at 12 pm today, someone else took it. So, thanks a lot n all the best.
Got a new Celcom prepaid number anyway. ;)

Setiap kali terdengar lagu ini, mesti teringat momen ini ... lying on the living room floor kt rumah kedai Paroi Jaya, late 1995. masa tu baru balik from USA. Lagu ini berkumandang dari mini compo Sony den masa tu.
Hmm, random memories.
lagu ini memang puitis dan mendayu ... based on puisi Jentayu Usman Awang
Di paruhmu kemilauan sinar
Menyepuhi sejuta rasa
Kemuliaan di hatimu
Bening budi terdampar di jagat raya
Di sayap taufan kau jelajahi
Awan gemawan membawa rindu
Kasihmu menentangi kezaliman
Ketidakadilan
Jentayu
Patah sayap bertongkat paruh
Jentayu
Patah sayap bertongkat siku
Jentayu
Patah sayap bertongkat dagu
Jentayu
Patah sayap bertongkat kuku
Pinjamkanlah hatimu
Untuk semua
pinjamkanlah syahdumu
bintang bersinar
di langit zaman.
Jentayu hadirlah.
